Services
Compassionate Psychiatric Services for Children, Adolescents, and Adults
Elmhurst Psychiatry provides compassionate, evidence-based outpatient mental health care through convenient virtual psychiatry appointments. We work with patients across different stages of life and create personalized treatment plans based on each person’s symptoms, history, goals, and needs.
Our services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, telepsychiatry appointments, GeneSight genetic testing, and treatment for a wide range of mental health condition
Psychiatric Evaluation
A psychiatric evaluation helps us better understand your symptoms, concerns, medical history, family history, current stressors, and treatment goals.
During your initial appointment, we take time to listen, ask questions, and develop a care plan that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle support, or additional testing when appropriate.
Medication Management
Medication can be an important part of mental health treatment for many patients. Elmhurst Psychiatry provides thoughtful psychiatric medication management to help treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, sleep concerns, mood instability, and other psychiatric symptoms.
We focus on finding the right medication plan while monitoring effectiveness, side effects, safety, and long-term progress.
GeneSight Genetic Testing
Elmhurst Psychiatry offers GeneSight genetic testing for psychiatric medications. This testing may help provide insight into how your body may process certain psychiatric medications.
GeneSight testing may be helpful for patients who have experienced medication side effects, tried multiple medications without success, or want additional information to support a personalized treatment plan.
Telepsychiatry Appointments
Virtual psychiatry makes it easier to receive care from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Telepsychiatry can be especially helpful for patients with busy schedules, parenting responsibilities, transportation challenges, or privacy concerns.
Benefits of virtual psychiatry include:
No commuting, parking, or waiting rooms
Easier scheduling around work, school, or family responsibilities
Greater privacy and comfort
Reduced time away from work or home
Access to care without the stress of travel
